The
farmhouse is set in 300 acres of grassland and woodland, bounded
by the River Derwent and Bassenthwaite Lake. The large detached
house was built in the 1930's to accommodate the Wilson family who
ran a prosperous sheep farm.
The house has two large, luxuriously furnished en-suite letting
rooms. Both bedrooms are furnished to a very high standard and have
their own colour television, tea & coffee making facilities,
clock radio and hair dryer. The rooms are light and airy with large
bay windows. One bedroom has an en-suite with a bath and the other
with a shower.
Breakfast is served in the traditional dining room, cooked to
